Downtown Colorado Springs

Through numerous community stakeholder and municipal feedback sessions, ArtHouse Design, in conjunction with Kimley-Horn, identified strategic locations for a unified sign system at key entry points to downtown. As part of the design development process, ArtHouse tapped into the rich history of Colorado Springs, seeking to reflect a city with a strong past and an urban area with an eye toward the future. Materials selections reflect the built environment at each location—raw steel pairs with warm brickwork, and blackened steel and brushed aluminum create a complementary look with the hypermodern finishes of the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum.
