The expansive Whole Foods Market located in Westminster, Colorado, was both an extensive undertaking and a pleasure to work on, due to the size and quality of design demanded by such an iconic brand. ArtHouse tackled this immense and detailed project with gusto, incorporating eye-catching environmental graphics and décor elements with the local flair that makes this community on the Colorado plains so unique. Inspired by Whole Foods’ desire to make the food we eat ethical, local, healthy and delicious, ArtHouse incorporated clean, innovative and playful design elements such as giant cutlery, mountains and even up-cycled milk jugs.
In order to imitate the sweeping views of the mountains and the plains that Westminster offers its residents, ArtHouse designed everything in the store to flow from one department to another, creating a landscape of its own that catches the eye and makes shopping there even more of a pleasure. The ArtHouse team also focused on creating areas of discovery, so that within each corner and section of the store, there is something breathtaking to explore that both comforts and excites. Helping to build what will surely become a staple hangout for locals in the community was an exciting opportunity and is reflected in the vibrant design that touches everything from the logo to the monumental décor overlooking the produce section.
