One North Main is an upscale, mixed-use office and retail development in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina. ArtHouse Design was approached to conduct a full branding process for One North Main, starting with a logo and eventually extending into interior and exterior signage, tenant guidelines and other environmental graphic design elements. This high-end retail and office destination features a seamless blend of modern architecture, crisp signage and environmental graphic design and elegant art installations, helping to further distinguish this high-end property as an anchor of Greenville’s posh city center. ArtHouse set out to brand One North Main in such a way that everything feels integrated and sophisticated.
This allowed for the use of special techniques such as sandblasting the logo directly onto the building itself, as well as the use of stylish materials like stainless steel. An important factor in the success of a décor, signage and branding program such as this one is whether or not someone can tell where the environmental graphic design ends and the architecture begins. With a focus on fully merging all of the décor, signage and architectural elements, ArtHouse was able to achieve this elegant balance with a high-end degree of refinement. Visitors to one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing cities will surely take note of the fashionable design elements as they peruse the upscale shopping and dining.
