Catalyst is a large-scale mixed-use office building along the Brighton Boulevard corridor in Denver’s booming RiNo Arts District. This project aims to bring together innovators in the fields of technology and healthcare to develop new ideas and leadership for these sectors. With multiple high-profile tenants, coworking spaces, high-end amenities and community gathering areas Catalyst needed a brand experience that was cohesive throughout the building and that brings together the many businesses and individuals working here every day. ArtHouse Design created a suite of building identification signage, code required signage and branded environmental elements that ties everything together with a hip, tech-meets-hospitality vibe.

By using a mixture of unique materials like wood, brushed bronze and translucent acrylic, ArtHouse was able to add a layer of warmth to the industrial-inspired space that complements the finishes tenants chose for their own spaces. A large branded wall greets visitors above social seating upon entry to the lobby and features a tone-on-tone matte/gloss map of the RiNo area with the Catalyst logo rendered in hand-crafted walnut. Additional subtle touches like illuminated purple bubbles decorate the edge of a parking sign and room signs include a subtle nod to both the brand and neighborhood with conference rooms named after area streets. Frosted glass frit graphics add privacy and cohesion throughout the space for a contemporary, modern feel.
