Legacy Loop Trail

The Legacy Loop Trail encircles Downtown Colorado Springs in an emerald necklace of greenery. Part of General William Palmer’s original vision for the City of Colorado Springs, Legacy Loop has been brought to life with an iconic identity by ArtHouse Design, the first step in realizing this 100 year vision. The prairie-style inspired identity is complemented by a suite of custom trail signage that features nods to the City’s architectural and design heritage. Additionally, signage elements are decorated with Van Briggle inspired tiles to tie in the area’s legacy as a ceramic arts hub. With a new trailhead near the City’s Parks and Recreation headquarters, Legacy Loop is already proving to be a cherished community asset for residents and visitors alike.
