New Cairo

New Cairo City is an exciting project 20 miles from Cairo, Egypt. ArtHouse Design’s role has been central from the beginning of development and encompasses all public and private sector signage and wayfinding throughout the proposed 6-million-square-meter site. ArtHouse has also created an exceptionally distinctive system of monumental retail elements and wayfinding, logos and pageantry that draw on the landscape and significance of ancient Egyptian sites, such as the pyramids and Great Sphinx of Giza, to welcome visitors and residents upon entrance to the site. Upon completion, this development is anticipated to have hotels, villas, golf courses, retail centers, hospitals, mosques, apartments and several office parks.
