Rochester Regional Health Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care

Inspired by forms and patterns found in nature on both a macro and micro scale, the design concept for the Rochester Regional Health Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care explores how the integration of shape and color create a sophisticated and calming sense of place. Through the use of layer and repetition, the goal of the theming, signage, donor recognition and wayfinding design was to aesthetically evoke an intuitive sense of movement and navigation. Tone-on-tone applications allow the design to be intentional, refined and not overly stimulating. Integrating natural elements into the design creates a connection between humans and nature, encouraging wellness and healing in a welcoming environment.
