The Global Down Syndrome Foundation approached ArtHouse Design to refresh their brand and design a new visual identity that reflected Global’s growing influence, groundbreaking research and impactful advocacy. ArtHouse began by leading Global through a detailed messaging and positioning process to understand Global’s mission and to refine and clarify its voice and tone. This was followed by an in-depth logo exploration including everything from slight tweaks to what was ultimately chosen; a complete re-brand with a more accessible, recognizable and meaningful logo.
The new visual identity was subsequently extended to Global’s extensive list of sub-brands, community and athletic programs and partnerships to create a cohesive brand system that communicates with a unified visual tone. With an up-beat, versatile color palette, custom icons and inclusive, clear messaging, ArtHouse extended Global’s new brand to a new website, refreshed social media presence, printed collateral, branded swag and even the masthead of Global’s Down Syndrome World Magazine. As part of the comprehensive re-branding effort, ArtHouse also worked closely with the Global team to design a suite of custom wall-graphics, awards displays, signage, wayfinding and donor recognition for their new headquarters in Denver.
