Colorado School of Mines

This building was made possible, in large part, due to the generosity of donors, and ArtHouse was hired to design exhibits recognizing these benefactors, as well as to provide information to campus visitors. Inspiration for the donor recognition display came from one of the staple assignments of the Petroleum Engineering Department: the reproduction of a topographic map.  The design is innovative and demonstrates an elegant blend of context and graphics. ArtHouse also designed six illuminated pillar displays to provide information about the many ways that petroleum engineering affects our lives, from its global and economic impact to the products we buy.
