Situated along Tennyson street in Denver’s hot Berkeley neighborhood, Colewood was designed to blend in with the adjacent buildings on the ground level, while maintaining an elegant presence clad in metal on its upper stories. This handsome building needed a name, branding and signage to match its understated sophistication, so Riverpoint Partners turned to ArtHouse Design to develop the brand identity and story surrounding this project. With nods to Colorado’s natural environment and the apartments found within the property that have ample terraces and outdoor space, ArtHouse came up with the name Colewood.
The airy, restrained logo feels both cosmopolitan and forward-thinking. This brand was then translated into a website, leasing brochures and a comprehensive suite of interior and exterior signage. Through the use of a restrained color palette and simple, honest materials the ArtHouse team was able to provide subtle sophistication to the building for residents, visitors and neighbors. Highlights of the signage package include individual, illuminated unit identification signs that warm up each unit entry with a combination of cold-rolled steel and bronze, as well as amenity signs that run nearly floor to ceiling and create an inviting, clubby feel for the community spaces in the building.
