Burger Wednesday

At ArtHouse Design, we know that play is just as important as work. Over the past year or so, we've started a new tradition by taking ourselves out to lunch once a week for Burger Wednesday, a day where we explore what the Mile High City's burger scene (yes, it's a thing) has to offer. This tradition grew from our love of food and need to get out and stretch our taste buds once in a while. Some days we go to hole in the wall places that only true Denverites would know about, sometimes to trendy spots and sometimes to more upscale locales for a special treat.

It hasn't been all fun and games though. Each week one team member writes a quiz about design, sign codes, zoning requirements, art history or typography. The rest of the team then has to take the quiz to see how their knowledge matches up. There are no prizes (except for delicious burgers of course) or punishments, but it is a great way for us to keep sharp and keep learning about our dynamic industry.

We've been having a lot of fun and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. If you want to know where we've been, check out the list below and enjoy some of the photos of our Burger Wednesdays past.
