ArtHouse Ski Day 2015

Throughout ArtHouse’s 20+ years in business, Marty has always valued taking time away from the office to appreciate the countless adventures that Colorado has to offer. This idea inspired the tradition of the ArtHouse Ski Trip - a day each year when we close the office and head to the hills for some powder, turns, moguls and team bonding.
This year, ArtHouse decided to head to Vail, one of Colorado’s most celebrated ski resorts. Luckily for us, it had snowed about 8” the night before and because it was a Friday, the roads were clear, allowing us to make good time getting there. We couldn’t have asked for better conditions, with a blue bird sky, fresh snow and an open mountain, we were like kids in a candy shop. Everyone had an awesome time, exploring the powder in the trees, bombing down groomers and even hitting some of the smaller features in the terrain park. Beth even brought her skiing ritual of sardines on crackers for the team to try, although we’re not sure if this will catch on as a Ski Day tradition…
We finished the day with a round of beers, sitting in the sun at the base of the mountain, tired, but thrilled to be able to take a day off from work and enjoy the incredible place we live in.
