Horizon Uptown

When Horizon and the City of Aurora came to ArtHouse requiring an exciting, eye-catching sign to attract people to their new mixed-use, sustainable community in the eastern suburbs of Denver, the question “does it have to be a 4′ x 8′ plywood sign” immediately sparked an innovative and exciting design process. The result of this spark of inspiration was a monumental green letter ‘H’ that generated buzz and curiosity about this new development and helped accomplish the ambitions of Horizon and Aurora. ArtHouse also designed environmentally friendly signage and wayfinding for their LEED-certified community center, which is part of the U.S. Green Building Council’s innovative LEED-Neighborhood Development Pilot Program.
