7/S Denver Haus is a high-end multi-family residential project by RedPeak properties in Denver’s booming Capitol Hill neighborhood. Designed by Craine Architecture, 7/S Denver Haus features forms, geometry and materials influenced by the Bauhaus movement and the building provides a very unique street presence in this bustling urban neighborhood. With these influences in mind, ArtHouse Design began by developing the name for the project, blending both the intersection the building is on (7th and Sherman), for a local tie in, with nomenclature that characterizes some of the key ideas of the Bauhaus movement. ArtHouse carried this idea throughout the project, developing Bauhaus inspired naming for the various resident amenities provided at the property.

ArtHouse then translated the name into a logo and visual identity, creating a cohesive brand that the ArtHouse team then applied to marketing collateral such as T-shirts, stationery, construction fence wraps and a project website. Once the brand had been well established, ArtHouse moved on to design the signage and wayfinding for the project, striking a balance between the architecture, interior design and brand in a way that feels seamless and elegant and continues to make subtle reference to the Bauhaus influence. With the use of custom icons, colors and typefaces, ArtHouse guided the visual vocabulary of 7/S Denver Haus from initial development through fabrication of all of the signage elements to the project opening.
