Environmental or experiential graphic design is a constantly evolving, multidisciplinary field that incorporates traditional graphic design, architecture, interior design, public art and urban planning. As defined by the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), environmental graphic design is “concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and information, and shaping the idea of creating experiences that connect people to place.”
