ArtHouse Design began its role on the project by developing the logo and identity, striking a balance between a contemporary feel and a western influence aesthetic. This was then translated into a comprehensive interior and exterior signage and wayfinding program informed by the architecture and interior design. In an effort to invoke some of the local railroad influences, the ArtHouse team incorporated materials such as hot rolled steel into the interior signage for an industrial, modern touch. The exterior signage maintains the integrity of logo, with splashes of brand colors making their way into the building’s amenity spaces and marketing collateral as well. With a rich, but nuanced palette of materials and colors, ArtHouse Design’s signage and wayfinding enhance and complement the resident experience and allow Union West Apartments to be a truly unique and well-appointed community.
